People's reasons for volunteering, besides the obvious of wanting
to see the project succeed, are many and varied, but largely
fall into 2 categories.
1 Unemployed and wanting to learn new skills.
2 Not looking for work but having free time and/or skills to
offer.(retired, disabled, fulltime parent etc.) |
Most of the work entails sorting
and dressing (de-nailing, sanding etc.) the wood, there will
also be opportunities for learning wood skills with handtools
and hopefully power tools (subject to insurance provision).
